Educational Activities

The educational activities are one of the main directions of the Institute, along with forensic expertise, scientific research, psychiatric care provision, and drug monitoring in Ukraine.

Main areas of educational activities:

  • carrying out activities in the field of higher education at the third (educational and scientific) level
  • training of academic-pedagogical and academic staff of the highest qualification in the specialties like “Psychiatry”, “Addiction Medicine” and “Medical Psychology” through postgraduate and doctoral programs
  • postgraduate training of professionals involved in providing mental health care through continuous professional development courses and programs for healthcare professionals
  • establishment and development of partnerships and agreements with international, regional, and other educational and training centers in order to develop and implement joint training and professional development programs for mental health professionals
  • publication of professional journals, methodological recommendations, information sheets, training manuals, monographs, etc
