International Cooperation Unit

Unit’s main responsibilities

  • to coordinate the international cooperation activities of the Institute, ensuring the implementation of liabilities under international agreements of Ukraine within the competence of the Institute and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine;
  • to request information from the public authorities, institutions, organizations and enterprises within the Unit’s competence;
  • to ensure the translation of the consolidated data of the National Report, and its further transferring to the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction;
  • to interact with other institutions/organizations within the Unit’s competence;
  • to form required information resources, to prepare suggestions on using cutting-edge information and communication technologies in the Unit’s activities;
  • to coordinate activities aimed at implementing international technical assistance programs;
  • to support the organization of the business trips abroad of the Institute’s staff (preparing documents, preparing terms of reference, instructing individuals delegated abroad, and receiving written reports from them on their business trip results);
  • to keep correspondence of the Institute’s top management with the representatives of foreign countries;
  • to coordinate the activities of the Institute’s functional units in terms of international events and meetings with the representatives of foreign countries;
  • to interact with the central government bodies within the Unit’s competence.
