Information resources

The State Agency “Center for Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol Monitoring of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine” is a government-run organization that serves as an organizational and methodological hub for mental health issues as well as drug and alcohol monitoring in Ukraine. This state-owned entity is administered by and accountable to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

The Center is a state-funded non-profit organization with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine as its authorized governing authority.

The Center was established by Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine of 11 May 2006 No. 268 “About the Organization of Work on Monitoring of Alcohol and Drug Situation in Ukraine” in response to Mandate of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 29 March 2005 No. 14297/1-05. No. 14297/1/1-05.

The Center’s operations adhere to the Constitution of Ukraine, the laws of Ukraine, decrees of the President of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, other statutory instruments, as well as any orders issued by the Authorized Governing Authority and this Statute pending final approval by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
