Department of Organization and Standardization of Psychiatric Care for Children and Adolescents

Main responsibilities:

  • To provide organizational, methodological, informational, and technical support for the development and implementation of up-to-date evidence-based medical and technological documents in providing care to children and adolescents with mental and behavioral disorders.
  • To adapt and implement clinical guidelines and protocols for providing care to children and adolescents with mental and behavioral disorders.
  • To introduce advanced diagnostic methods and diagnostic systems for providing care to children and adolescents with mental and behavioral disorders.
  • To carry out evidence-based development and implementation of effective technologies to identify and determine ways of minimizing the impact of risk factors (drivers) of mental diseases in children and adolescents, as well as to create a favorable environment for their mental health.
  • To organize the provision of therapeutic, preventive, diagnostic, counseling, and psychosocial support to children and adolescents with mental and behavioral disorders.
  • To arrange scientific and practical research on the mental health of children and adolescents and the psychiatric care provision.
  • To take part in developing and ensuring access to evidence-based programs for children and adolescents that would foster skills and awareness in issues like mental resilience, emotional mastery, and psychosocial interaction.
  • To analyze the health care system in institutions of various subordination in terms of providing care to children and adolescents with mental and behavioral disorders.
